At Wishbox Studio, we had the opportunity to craft the brand identity for Culturati, the signature Indian restaurant inside Renest Hotel. The brief was to design a brand that could encapsulate the rich cultural and culinary diversity of India’s states within a single dining experience.
The name Culturati represents a collective of cultural enthusiasts—people who value not just food, but also the stories, traditions, and artistry behind it. Much like India itself, the restaurant celebrates regional flavors, offering guests an immersive journey across India’s diverse cuisines.
The logo design reflects this philosophy with a modern yet timeless aesthetic. The refined typography with elegant curves mirrors the grace of Indian heritage, while the deep maroon background evokes richness, warmth, and indulgence—perfect for a luxury dining experience.
To extend the identity beyond the logo, we created a series of elegant brand patterns inspired by India’s artistry and design traditions. These patterns were applied across menus, collaterals, and interiors, ensuring a consistent and immersive brand experience that resonates with the cultural essence of the restaurant.
Through this branding exercise, Culturati was positioned as more than just a restaurant. It is an experience of India’s cultural and culinary richness—from the spice-laden coasts of Kerala to the hearty kitchens of Punjab, from the deserts of Rajasthan to the delicacies of Bengal—all under one roof at Renest Hotel.
