WedMeGood, a trailblazer in the wedding planning industry since 2014, caters to 1.8 million monthly users across its web and app platforms. The platform marries technology with the Indian wedding industry, and provides access to over 150.000 trusted vendors across 30+ categories via user generated reviews, detailed portfolios, and pricing information. The app offers wedding solutions ranging from downloadable invitations, a dynamic checklist as well as wedding-related packages. Founded by Mehak Sagar, Anand Shahani and Mayank Gupta, it helps take the stress out of wedding planning by giving tools to both wedding professionals and couples to make their lives easier. Engaging over 2.5 million users reached over its social networks, WedMeGood stands as a definitive resource in the wedding planning industry.

Brief

The brief was to conduct media outreach around WedMeGood’s launch of 4th Annual Wedding Report 2024 and then later on on the launch of the Top 50 Stunning Wedding Venues at Grand Gala Night organised by WedMeGood in Delhi, thereby enhancing brand visibility and awareness around the industry reports.

Strategy

The agency organized multiple brand familiarization meetings to bridge the gap between the founders and the journalist in addition to facilitating profilings and industry stories on behalf of the founders. As a result of this many journalists became loyalists of WedMeGood and started featuring it regularly in their stories. A mix of mainlines, financials and online media were tapped on a national level to make a connection with consumers.

As a result WedMeGood has been featured in a mix of print and online editions of publications like Fortune Magazine, Press Trust of India, Mashable, Delhi Times, Hindustan Times, Mint, Business Standard, The Economic Times, Navbharat Times, Deccan Herald, NDV Profit, The Print, Latestly, Republic World, DailyHunt, ABP News, Outlook Money and more in addition to also being covered widely on social media.
