Wishbox Studio was commissioned to design the first edition of UNDP’s annual magazine ‘Inspiring India,’ which featured resilient stories of change from all over the country. The theme for this year was climate change.  WBS was in charge of developing and designing the content, with support from the UNDP team. Our goal in creating this magazine was to create a modern look while also giving it an Indian feel by using ethnic patterns and contemporary hand drawn illustrations. We utilized collages and layering techniques with varied shapes and blending modes to create intriguing picture treatments. We have included interactive activities like the crossword puzzles and a green horoscope to make the magazine more interesting. We were extremely proud of the positive response it received from the client as well as their audience.
