Lights, Camera… Gradient!

For the 4th consecutive year, Wishbox Studio has had the opportunity to do Branding for European Union Film Festival (@eu_in_india ). Our collaterals for the festival included creating festival identity, making the website, designing brand strategy, creating their brochure, trailer and emailer, as well as other marketing collaterals.

Though physical distances have increased, virtual boundaries are blurred beyond recognition. The visual direction we chose for EUFF in 2021 was very new-age, pathbreaking and contemporary, heavily relying on gradient meshes, abstract patterns and photo treatments. We created 10 different gradient meshes, of multiple colours, to be used as backgrounds throughout the entire website.

The tagline for the festival was “A Window to Europe”. The thought behind the tagline is quite simple, taking a peek through our virtual windows into the vast 60 movie collection of the film festival. The glitch window is an animated cinematic visual used throughout the festivals pages and website.
