ANCHAL is an innovative digital solution being developed and implemented for addressing critical service delivery gaps in maternal health care to reduce maternal death and improve efficiencies in service delivery. The project is being piloted in Pune district, by UNDP India with support from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Maharashtra.
ANCHAL uses a software system with frontend smartphone user application to generate data and high-end analytics on crucial service delivery points on antenatal care like- Tracking pregnant women for regular follow-up.
Create a database for these women that can be disaggregated at state, district and sub-district level; Ensuring that the transport facilities are available, thus the health system transforms from being passive to an active one in its response.
We designed the identity for Anchal along with other communication templates. The logo consists of two main elements- a bird, and clicking gesture. The bird here depicts speed as it is about providing quick aid in emergency situation and also depicts its approachability due to its organic shape. It is also shown making the clicking gesture since it’ an app which suggests that it’s a modern tech based product. The logo is free-flowing and would be able to engage with it’s users instantly and effectively.
